"BETTE" is to debut Wednesday, October 11th 2000!
(which is the day before my birthday)

Visit WHAT WOMEN WANT for more information to the movie costarring Bette Midler, Mel Gibson, and many others.

Bette's new CD is title "Random Acts of Divineness" and is rumored for an October 17th release. This CD will include the much talked about song "Mary" from her Divine Miss Millenium tour.

Check out the site I added EVERYTHING UN-BETTE related. It will include other interests of mine, such as the Osmonds. I've done a review of their Greatest Hits Box Set, "Joseph," and much more. Plus there are links to them and info about the Donny & Marie show.

"I love cleaning. I'm the queen. I think housekeeping has gotten a bad rap. It's something people can take pride and joy in... It's a kind of craft that people have put down for the last 30 years. I don't see where any craft should be put down."

"The worst part of success is to try to find someone who is happy for you.

"Cherish forever what makes you unique, 'cuz you're really a yawn if it goes."

"I still love all sorts of music, and all sorts of music still loves me. So why can't I just sing what I love?"
on Good Morning America, 1998.

"I feel like I can go on forever. People always want to see a funny
little old lady, don't they? And if they don't, I'll make them. I
mean, it's obvious that Cher can go on forever too if she wants. Her career is longer than God's so far."

"If sex is such a natural phenomenon, how come there are so
many books on how to do it."

"What I have is the ability to make people look at me. It just comes on like a light bulb. And it feels like a light bulb; it feels warm inside."

"I never knew my impulse toward goodness was so serious. I think it comes from my parents. They gave to charity, and I remember them saying that no matter how bad things were for us, there were always people who had less." Ladies' Home Journal September 1999

"I didn't belong as a kid, and that always bothered me. If only
I'd known that one day my differentness would be an asset, then my earlier life would have been much easier."

"My idea of superwoman is someone who scrubs her own floors."

"I'm pretty gutsy, but I'm intimidated by tremendous
accomplishment and by people who are very tall. Because I'm small. I was brought up with Japanese people, and I was big, I was the giant. I came here, and there were all these really big people. They're so tall, they look at you like, 'I could eat you if I wanted to' But I tell everyone I'm 6' 2" anyway. In the movies, they think I'm 20 feet tall." on Oprah (9/17/99)

"I never know how much of what I say is true."

OTHER BETTE PICS (that I like)

from the album
"Live at Last"

Hurry on down to my house, honey, ain't nobody home but me. Hurry on down to my house, baby. Oh, I'm blue as I can
be. I love you. You love me. A-hurry through the alley so the neighbors don't see. Hurry on down to my house, honey, ain't nobody home but me. Oooh. Hurry on down to my house, baby, ain't nobody home but me. Hurry on down to my house, baby. I'm blue as I can be. Oh, blue when the clock a-went tick-tock-tick. Ooh, c'mon, honey, ah-quick, quick, quick. Awww, hurry on down to my house, baby, ain't nobody home but me. Say, hurry, hurry, a-nobody's home. Hurry on down, baby, I'm blue as I can be. Oh, please come down just as soon as you can. If you don't come down, I got to call Sam! You know the man is crazy about me. Ain't nobody home but me . . . ow! "Well, what's goin' on with the three of yous? C'mon, c'mon, make it snappy. C'mon, c'mon, work out, work out! Go, babe, get down, get down! Oh, lord! Nobody's home!" Say, hurry on down to my house, baby, ain't nobody home. A-haul it down, drag it down, any way to get it down. I'm blue as I can be. Ashes-to-ashes. Dust-to-dust. C'mon, honey, you must, you must! Hurry on down to my house, baby, ain't nobody home but me. Hurry, hurry. A-nobody's home. Haul it down and drag it down. You know I can't stand to be alone. Operator, get me hillside, 409. A-don't stop ringin' 'til you get that baby's line! He's gonna haul it down! Ain't nobody home but, you believe it, there's nobody home but me! Wo!
