(meaning most everything Osmond) This my page that is about my other interests. I like other things besides everything bette. TV Guide has announced that the air date of the premiere of "Daddio" is on October 2 on NBC. Donny is scheduled to be on the first episode. Donny's oldest son, Don Jr. returned home from his 2 year mission for the LDS Church in England. He started school the day after returning home from his mission. He had a wonderful homecoming with friends and family. Marie's 41st birthday is October 13th (A day after mine). It also happens to fall on a Friday this year. Donny and Marie will be hosting the Miss America pagent again this year, on October 14th. Marie will be back on QVC October 15, 2000. Donny's joining Jim Brickman on Brickman's tour during the months of November and December 2000. Go HERE to check out the tour schedule. Donny's headed into the recording studio starting this month! He'll be produced by Phil Ramone, and the CD will contain some Broadway tunes, and songs like Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb's "Immortality". It's to be released on the Decca Broadway label, as Donny just signed a deal with Universal Classics Group (UCG). I have heard different things about the release date, anywhere from February 2001 till the fall of 2001. Marie has announced that she has reconciled with her husband, Brian Blosisl. Marie is the new spokesperson for babygear.com. Boo-hoo. Still no more D&M. The repeats are being aired where I live fortunately. For more info click on either Donny or Marie at the bottom and go to the news page to find out more. Watch for a new biopic of the Osmond family to come on ABC. Jimmy Osmond was just in L.A. putting the finishing touches on it. No word on an airdate as yet. As soon as I found out I'll let you know. I haven't heard anymore about this as of now. Donny's book, LIFE IS JUST WHAT YOU MAKE IT: My Story So Far, is now available in paperback which includes a newly added chapter since the release of the hard copy. |

"Make 7...Up Yours!" the 7UP commercials "Do, or do not. There is no 'try'." -Yoda ('The Empire Strikes Back') "He who laughs last is generally the last to get the joke." -Terry Cohen "A dress makes no sense unless it inspires men to want to take it off you." -Francoise Sagan "I don't wear, won't wear, anything made by Calvin Klein. The stuff is cheap." -Mark Wahlberg, actor and former Calvin Klein underwear model in TIME magazine. "The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain." -Dolly Parton "If you want to say it with flowers, a single rose says : 'I'm cheap!'" -Delta Burke "Only time can heal your broken heart, just as only time can heal his broken arms and legs." -Miss Piggy "Sometimes I'm so sweet even I can't stand it." -Julie Andrews "The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age." -Lucille Ball "I've actually gone to the zoo and had monkeys shout to me from their cages, 'I'm in here when you're walking around like that?'" -Robin Williams about his body hair. "When I sing, people shut up." -Barbra Streisand "It's a dirty job being ridiculous, but I'll do it." -Cher "I never smile unless I mean it. " -Donny Osmond to the Boston Sunday Globe, March 17, 1996. "If you’re going to be able to look back on something and laugh about it, you might as well laugh about it now." -Marie Osmond "I don't care if people call me square. I don't think I am. In the long run, I've got more guts than most girls. I have the courage to be myself and not go along with everyone else." -Marie Osmond "People said, 'What do you mean you don't smoke and drink? What do you mean you don't take drugs?' All these things that were going on back then. And now in the '90s it's really interesting because I think I would be considered relatively hip. People know now you don't do drugs unless you're going to get killed. Smoking and drinking, they know for health reasons that there are lots of advantages not to. I think a lot of times people perceive Marie Osmond as naive or goody-goody or whatever, and I really have to laugh at them because they are totally naive. Because you cannot grow up in this business and do all the things that I've done in my life and see all the things I have seen and be naive. That's impossible. I'm not worried about changing my image. I am who I am." -Marie Osmond |

"READ MY LIPS" on Marie's album: There's No Stopping Your Heart Sometimes I can be so shy, I keep my emotion deep inside. I try to tell you how much you mean to me. And each time I start out, I get stuck, words don't come easily. When the feel of my hand, and the warmth of my touch ain't enough, don't give up, read my lips. If your heart doesn't hear when my arms draw you near, it will soon, soon be clear, read my lips. Lovin' eyes gaze in mine, looking for some kind of sign. If I were a poet, and feelings were poetry, I'd send you a thousand lines about how much you mean to me. When the feel of my hand, and the warmth of my touch ain't enough, don't give up, read my lips. If your heart doesn't hear when my arms draw you near, it will soon, soon be clear, read my lips. Time after time, I tried my best to say how much I need you, darlin',the words just never came. When the feel of my hand, and the warmth of my touch ain't enough, don't give up, read my lips. If your heart doesn't hear when my arms draw you near, it will soon, soon be clear, read my lips. When the feel of my hand, and the warmth of my touch..... |

My review of LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT: My Story So Far which is Donny's book that I bought in paperback and contains a new addition since the hard cover came out. Well, I finished reading Donny's book last year and I absolutely love it. There was so much info that I didn't know about and other things that was told from Donny's point of view so that you better understood just what happened. It was such an interesting story, it was like going on a journey with the Osmonds from Donny's perspective. I enthustiastically recommend the book to any Osmond fans.
